    Also, when setting goals, I need to follow the acronym S.M.A.R.T.
    Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, and Timely.

Hello, the steps you need to achieve your life long goals is by first knowing what you want to accomplish, list the benefits so you know what your reward is, find the obstacles that could be benefitial to know before seeing it, make sure you have friends or contacts that could help you complete your goal, find what skills you need to achieve the goal, draw a plan out so you always know what your next move is, and then give yourself a time of completion so you can't be lazy. Applying those steps will help all of your dreams come true like Papa B.
