Describe the role of an Enzyme? How can it affect a reaction?

  2. Usually enzymes have the role to catalyse a reaction. That means they aren't changed at all, but they influence the mechanism to reduce the activation energy (the energy needed for the reaction). The reaction is therefore performed more easily.

    Enzymes role with a substrate it is a molecule that an Enzymes will attack it grabs onto it in area called active site when the Enzyme lets go its back to normal ready to do another reaction but the subsrate is no longer the sme it is now called the product.... Enzymes havecatalysts a reaction that means they aren't changed at all but they influence the mechanism to reduce the activation energy (it is the energy needed to react)its meaning that it speeds up the chemical reaction...
