DNA's structure includes many different parts. DNA is a long molecule that has nucleotides. Each nucleotide consists of three things: deoxyribose, a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base. The four kinds of nitrogenous bases. The ones categorized as purines are adenine and guanine. And the pyrimidines are cytosine and thymine. DNA's backbone is made up of sugar and phosphate groups from the nucleotides. The chain is formed by the nitrogenous base hanging sideways. It is a double helix that resembles a spiral staircase or ladder. I found four names involved in discovering this: Erwin Chargaff, Rosalind Franklin, Francis Crick, and James Watson.

DNA is a long molecules made up of nucleotides. Each nucleotide is made up of three components: 5-carbon sugar called deoxyribose, a phosphate group, and a nitrogenous base. The four nitrogenous bases are: adenine, guanine, cytosine, and thymine. Also, the backbone of a DNA chain is formed by sugar and phosphate groups of each nucleotide. The three people who were influential regarding DNA's structure are Francis Crick, James Watson, and Rosalind Franklin.

• DNA is kept together by long chains which contain Hydrogen Bonds, and Nucleotides (this is made of a 5-carbon sugar called deoxyribose, a phosphate group, and a nitrogous base.)

• The 3 influential people are: Roselin Franklin who found an ex-ray defraction of DNA, and was the true founder. But Watson and Crick because they were man were given the credit, this was founded 53 years ago.
