i liked you class because i learned lots of stuff that i didnt know already. i liked the fact that your class is fun you make learnin fun. a negative is taking to many notes. for the most part so far i like the class.

I liked it because I thought it was interesting to learn about the human body. I didn't like it because I think we took too many notes and I think the fitness test was pointless.

I like class because i learned alot, and i never got bored. All the assignments and labs were alot of fun to do. The only thing i didn't enjoy doing in class, was the bug project because it was hard, but everything else we did in class was alot of fun!
I liked your class a lot. I found all the tests and quizzes easy due to us using our notes which I liked. I didnt like most of the videos, I find them boring. The class itself was easy and fun, which was good.
The class was okay, although I don't really like biology. Genetics was kind of interesting. However, he thing I greatly disliked about the class was so many projects. It is very stressful to do that much work at the end of the year when the other classes don't have to do the bug project. The wild place is also a lot of work. I probably have a bias against science, but I thought I had more homework/projects in science than my other classes. I think you should drop the bug project. The wild place project is okay, and I learned a lot and enjoyed the Natural History project.
Overall, i liked your class because we learned a lot. however, i didn't like how we had so many projects, and they were all somewhat large. especially the bug project. we were the only one's who had to do it, and that isn't fair because it was really disgusting.
uhhhh, dislike. Your a mean teacher and always picked on me everyday. ahha no it was a great year and i had a lot of fun learning about biology, bug project sucks tho, highly dislike that.

I love Health. Not only is it easy it is informative. It has enlightened me on many topics, reinforced the stuff I already knew, and scared the shiz out of me (especially the STD lecture). Overall a great semester class.

It was a pretty fun class, i liked alot of the kids in there and how we could fool around. But overall i did learn alot in your class about getting and maintaining a healthy body and system.
What i like about ur class is that i learnd alot about it. because u wloud let has usu are notes for the quiz i also like that you woul let has work in groups sometimes and that u would let has set werever we wanted!
I thought that your class was boring and a bunch of stuff that i already new. nothing that was taught really did anything to change me.

I liked Ur class in a positive way is that you would let us use notes for the test and that was very hopefull sometimes .You are very funny and make the class room laught and so we dont get bored.The negative that i didn't like that much about your class was that we had to take alot of notes even that they were great notes and useful for the test i was to many notes and the things that you have in ur class bugs insects there just very gros.BUt you did i great job in showing us new things in this semester.

BURNS! your class was the best! it was just a calm, relaxed environment that allowed us to learn and interact and really get to know the material in a way thats different from most teachers. plus allowing us to use our notes makes us become responsible to take good notes or print them out in order for us to succeed. plus the music choices were always good so it keeps you wondering what song going to play the next day! the visuals are pretty intense at times, but hey its your job to inform us (or scare us)! i wouldnt change a thing burns! thanks for the great year!
I liked ur class cause we did alot of cool things and i liked the environment cause it was kinda casual. but its always cold and the bug project wasn't really my favorite thing ever :P But yeah i like ur class

It was a pretty fun class and I learned a lot. Still, we took a lot of notes.
I enjoyed the class, it was interesting and fun at the same time. I like your style of teaching. Sometimes topics got a little boring and some were a bit "naughtty". I hope to have a good rest of the year as well.
I definitely learned a lot in this class! I thought that the labs were great because they helped me understand the information better. I didn't like the bug project! :p Overall, it has been a great year of bio!
i really enjoyed the class beacause you are one of the only few teachers that always has somthing to say and make us walk out with a smile on our face. its was cool that you would lets us download the notes, i never did tho lol.

i liked your class cause it was fun. Your class was intresting cause i learned new things that i didnt know. A negative thing i didnt like was lot of notes and lot of movies we watched but i liked your class.
I really liked health, i learned alot of stuff that i never knew before, and its fun, haha, the only negative i can think of is to many notes.

I really liked this class, because the teacher and the kids got to have fun, and learn some pretty disturbing stuff, but it is all worth knowing.
I really enjoyed your class this year. Mainly because of the fact that we learned a lot, while keepin it funny and casual. The labs were really fun and I actually wanted to do more or them. The projects were easy and enjoyable, EXCEPT for the bug project! haha But yeah the information I learned this year really stuck. Basically, a really great class this year.

this class was my favorate of all the classes, i especially liked haveing you for health and bio. i liked all of the labs that we did, and i just want to thank you for all your hard work and all that you did for us, i think that it was supper funny how u made all those jokes, and how charlet would fight with everyone and you would make the funny noises, thanks MR. BURNS ur the best!!!!!!
I enjoyed your class very much because it was a casual environment. However, the classroom was often too cold and dark (especially in the morning when we are all still half asleep). Between the cell,the diagrams, natural history, bug, and wild place projects Ibelieve that there were too many of them. The amount of notes we took in your class helped to study for quizes and tests, but at many times I was confused while we took them because there were not enough vicual aids(especially when we learned about protein synthesis). Overall, this year in bio was fun and I learned a lot.
I really enjoyed your health class. Although I thought the self-inventories were sort of pointless, everything else was great and I wouldn't change anything. I don't think we took too many notes because you always had them online and we could always use them on the tests, which helped a lot. Overall, your health class was great and I learned a lot of valuable information.
I think this was a good class because the people in me class were funny and because Mr. Burns is such a chill teacher. I also liked this class because i want to pursue a career in health and this was helpful for that.
Umm I liked that when you taught the class you never hid your true opinions or tried to sugar coat something you were straight forward and honest. Also because your class really didn't require alot of work it allowed me to focus more on what we were learning and that was really great. I really dont have anything negitive to say other then the fact that I think you should give alittle slack for people who are late because I know that for me i am usually doing a hundred different things at once and occasionaly i can be late for a class.
Mr. Burns,
ur class was great. Not only waas it easy it gave us a lot of important info on how to take care of ourselves and some of the dangers out there in the world. All the lectures were great, and one thing i thought was pretty sweet is letting us use notes on our test. AWESOME. Lastly ur music choices were cool, i would walk iinto class and hear a great song! Overall thanks for the good semester.
I really enjoyed you class, there is nothing that I will forget about your class except for the wildplaces. It is really hard with my family's busey schedule. It's hard to go to my tree every other weekend. But overall your class was awsome. I really loved joking around in class too.
I think your class was my favorite class my whole junior year. I really learned a lot even though your class is at the end of the day, and I really liked how you let us use notes on tests. Best class out of all 3 years.
I really liked the way your class ran, and how we got to sit at the lab table and work in groups, which we did a lot in the beginning of the year. I also enjoyed the Natural History projects, those were really fun and relatively easy to do. I obviously did not like the Bug Project at all. I just personally think it is a waste of time because I really did not take anything from it, apart from realizing that I hate bugs a lot more than I thought I did. I hated it even more because none of the other classes had to do it. I think that those three months could have been spent on a different project. But, overall (minus the bug project) Biology was one of my favorite classes this year.
I've realized that you are my favorite teacher this year. no joke. the way you kept the classroom light with your comments to charlotte made my day all the time. i also liked how you don't start yelling at people or get super mad at them if the do something wrong. you just mad fun of them. oh, and you gave us tons of grace on assignments. the only negative part was all the note taking. but other than that everything was perfect!

I have learned alot from your class. I really liked how we did so many labs and how the atmosphere was very entertaining. The notes online help alot with upcoming quizzes and test, too. The things I disliked about your class was probably all of the note-taking and how your classroom was always extremely cold. Also, I didn't really enjoy doing the Insect Project (except catching them was pretty fun, but identifying them and killing them kind of killed the project). Other than that, I enjoyed your class alot and I am super stoked to start dissections! Thanks for a great year!!!
I enjoyed your class because i learned a lot more then i expected i would, i also ejoyed how you made the class a not so stressfull enviorment :) the only thing i did not like would probley have to be how mentally scaring sum of the health pix were lol
Mr. Burns health class is an educational environment that should no be skipped by taking the class over the internet. The hands on experience with CPR training and the in-class speakers are a necessary essence to health class. The class was interesting due to the freedom allowed to students to make comments and ask questions throughout the lesson.
your class was very enjoyable and had a great learning enviroment, However, the classroom was often too cold. overall, i liked your class. the breakfast before testing was really thoughtful and fun. i liked the bug project, however i think that there should only be like 15 bugs required because it is more resonable. the wild place was okay, but a huge inconvienence to get someone to drive me there every 2 weeks. the natural historys were pretty easy. but for the blog and biweeklys i think that you should remind the class every thursday or friday in class. for the notebook, i think that it would be better if we could have spiralbound ones too because the other ones fall apart really easily, and the ones that dont fall apart are expensive. i liked how we got to listen to your music during class. i really liked the aids lab, that was fun. i like how a lot of stuff is online also. i do not like disecting at all, so that should be optional. there was hardly any homework which was cool. you are a nice teacher and thanks for a good year.
I liked your class a lot. Out of all my classes this year I had the most fun in yours. I never was bored in the class and I learned losts of facts about how my body works and how to stay healthy. I only had one dislike, and that was the poweroint on STD's. I had a great semester in your class and I hope to see you next year in biology.
OMG this year was FUN, your are a funny teacher, and one of the BEST teachers ive had so far. The best part of your class was learning about animals and things that are inside the body, that I did no exsist haha. Overall everything was great, but I didnt really like all the projects, especially the BUG one. You are definalty one of my high school teachers I will always remeber! =]

Ok Mr. Burns, i know i know i already commented but i thought it over and i had more to say,
I think you are a great teacher and made my year. really biology just wouldn't have been the same without you and it was easily my favorite class. haha Each morning i wished it was an A day, i actually named my A days Awesome days cuz they had all my fav classes in it, but starting my day off with bio was perfect. It was always fun when u messed with me & steph, haha it's what brought the spice in my life, umm no that was random, but anyways, i really loved your bio class and wanted to thank you for all you've done for me this year. Not only biology but in baseball you were an excellent coach and very reasonable i would say. I like your type of coaching because you coach with positive reinforcement which works alot better for me than the punishment style of coaching, i know this is about bio but i had to say that. Hhaha pointers: 1.make it warmer in your class cuz every morning it felt like i was walking into a frozen tundra. 2. Sum up the notes somehow to the stuff we really need because people really cannot stay awake and take for an hour and 30 mins of notes without loosing focus 3. uhm there really isn't a third, just pretty much that, i thought the work load was very fair for an "honors" class. I put that in quotes because i know it wasn't really an honors class but it is named that because there is apparently a lower bio? so anyways, OVERALL: i give you a 10/10 for the year!

I really liked your teaching ways, and your attitude because it made learning the material a lot more fun. You are funny and nice but also know when to be serious. The one thing I didn't like was the bug project, I think you should keep it but decrease the number of orders/bugs!

Your class was very entertaining, I enjoyed everything we did except for the longterm projects (i.e. the insect collection and wild place.) Overall I would have to say this was one of my favorite classes.
i loved your class although sometimes it did get a little chily. i loved the way u connected with us and always made a joke out of everything, there was never a dull moment in our class (apart from hours of notes). i think i laugh in your class the most out of my whole schedule. however i agree with ethan and think the notes could be cut down a bit to the thing we really need to know but other than that this year has been awesome and so much fun!!

ok mr. burns im going to give you the real low down on my opinon on your class (dont take it personally if i am an honest person. im just saying it how it is). FIRST and formost, the bug project was insane! i dont care that it was a tradition (i mean seriously mr. burns?). SECOND of all, your class was ALWAYS freezing and i might add that since u assigned that bug project you lost all snuggie oppornunites for yourself. THRID, the wild place and natural historys were very inconvienent because going to a deffernt place like every month is kinda hard if you have a busy schedual. ok since the negative stuff is out of the way (oh wait one more thing to say....THE BUG PROJECT SCARRED ME FOR LIFE!$^%&&) i just wanted to say you did a splendid job of running the class (aside from lowering my body temp to like -60). overall i had a really fun time!

Mr. Burns I really enjoyed your class this year. I honestly look forward to go to it everyday. i think we took a little bit too much notes but overall it is a very fun class.
I liked having you as my Biology teacher and learned a lot from you this year. In your class we got to have fun and learn at the same time making your class fun while we did our work at the same time. It made us have to be more mature and focus on our work before talking. I have to say that you were my favorite teacher this year and you made science really fun. There isn't really much to dislike because compared to the other Bio teachers your class seems to have more fun so cutting down on the rules would cause you to lose empowerment of your class. Thanks for a great year.

I liked your class a lot becuase there was never a dull moment, except for the bio videos with the weird narrator. I learned a lot about life and how things so small do amazing things. I liked all the projects inculding the wildplace, except for the bug project (I had a tough time on it.) Overall, I had a lot of fun in your class.
I really liked and appreciated your class, and I looked forward towards it every A day. The fun lessons plus the students in the class made it a memorable period. I had a very good time being able to attend your class this year. It was very fun and exciting and was the only class I liked attending every day. The class environment was great and gave off a lot of good vibes to learn in. The overall homework given to us was really good and it helped me understand health even more. I learned many new things and I know now what I need to look out for. The only negatives I would have to say about the class is not finishing WALL-E, whenever you had a sub the class work was kind of frustrating, and the last thing is that it only lasted one semester. Thank you for everything and I will always "THINK GOOD THOUGHTS."

i think that your bio class was great in all aspects but one... too many projects. The bug project and the wild place combined is too much, it would have been fine if they were spread out a bit... or if the wild place had ended befor the bug project was due. I think this was one of my favorite classes and you were probably my favorite teachers in he past few years (that's saying a lot). I enjoyed this class a lot and had a lot of fun this year. You made this class so much fun and i really didn't find anything bad about this class. It had an appropriate work load and honestly they weren't to difficult, excluding the bug project.. what I liked about this class was the fun projects that helped us visit the natural world and tosee how its changing weather we change it or it changes on it's own. I also liked how you had time to help people on there projects and homework.

I loved how class was so chill, mostly everyone got along with each other, and I learned a lot of new information. But there were too many projects especially at the end of the year. This year was soooo much fun and nothing should change!!!! All the kids were nice even the sassy ones if anything i think you should add more projects and add more bugs that kids need to collect next year because i loved it sooo much and learned so much and im sure they would enjoy it tremendously

What I liked most about your class most was that you liked people to discuss their own opinions and questions rather than just force feeding us the information. The only project I didn't like was the wild place because it didn't seem like it was worth anything. We already know what the seasons are and how they affect the enviroment. Especially here in Newport Beach the seasons hardly change anything compared to other areas. Most people complained about the bug project but it wasn't that bad. I just think you should be lenient on the classification.

i really liked and enjoyed your class this year because everything we did kept me entertained. Although we did alot of projects, i think every one had a purpose and i learned from each of them, but i think that the proportion of each project was a little overwhelming. I disliked some long notes, i think that maybe you should simplify the sentences and make things more simplistic. Other than that, i really liked how you took the time to post all the powerpoints and homework online so that we were able to access them. Thanks for everything Mr. Burns this year was awseome

I liked that we always started the class with a fun discussion and that we joked around a lot. I really didnt like the bug project and the wildplace. I think that you should get rid of the bug project and just have the wild place so it wouldnt be so hectic at the end of the year. other then that, your class was a lot of fun!

This class was definetely pretty much the only class that i didnt mind going to. I learned important things that i will need to know for the future, and it was fun while doing so. The only negative thing is that i hear from people in your a-day classes, they watched Wall-E.

hey Mr. Burns, i really enjoyed your class. It was my easiest and most fun class this semester. i like that i learned new things that actually affect my life. the only negative feedback would be the notes but it seems like you solved that by posting them on school loop and my other problem is the notebooks. i like that we get to use them on the tests but it would be nice to have a binder just for health instead of a notebook. thanks for a fun class :)
I liked the class because i feel like a learned alot of useful information that i will use for the rest of my life. I think the notes were kinda annoying and dragged on too long though.
I thought your class was o.k, but i didn't like the weekly summery things. Labs weren't bad and i didn't mind the bug project because i started early. Anyway hope you learn something from this year cause i deffinitly did.

I thought your class was overflowing with mind-blowing, fun-filled, action-packed, slightly project-heavy learning action!!! I especially enjoyed the times when you played AC/DC music. My only regret is the glaring lack of hyphens.

I loved this class. This was by far the beat class i have taken. There was lots of things to learn which made it interesting.
I thought your class was bomb! I looked forward to it quite often. i liked the projects and everything. keep bein' chill Mr. Burns. i agree that there are too many notes but it's all good, you make up for it with the entertaining stuff that happens, especially when that girl ran out of the class screaming cuz you took out the snake! HAHAHA!!!!

It was awesome. There was barely any homework and the projects were fun. I am not sure why some people complained about natural histories because they were an easy 50 points. I was actually kind of bummed when you said we didnt have to do the last one. It got me out of the usual stuff. Biweeklys were a pain but i would take three big projects over nightly homework anytime. And tests were EASY, no offence but studying wasnt a must to get the A. We took notes alot but im fine with that. Most boring part was that cell stuff. The Bug project was fun catching the bugs but pinning wasnt the best. Catching butterflies was a rush haha. Identifying them sucked. enough said.
Even though you gave more project then the other Bio teacher, all in all I still had a lot of fun in the class and a couple big projects are definitely better then a whole bunch of nightly homework. The notes really weren't that bad. The only project I didn't like really to much was the bug project just because it seemed kind of mean even though I understand why we did it. But yeah, great class, lots of fun, very laid back. All in all, a great class.
I really enjoyed the Class Mr. Burns but i wish we had more labs and less projects. i like not having homework all the time and i wouldn't really change anything about the class

and i liked how we didnt really have homework but all the notes kinda replaced the hw so it evens out..the negative part about the class that i disliked was the wildplace it was very stressing and to be honest freshmen do procasinate! eh, sorry lol

What i what i found most interesting about your class was towards the end where we started learning about HIV AIDS, STDs, and drugs. but you are definably the coolest teacher on campus in my opinion

I liked this class because i was able to learn and have alot of fun at the same time. The only thing i didnt like were the few people who were disrespectful and disruptive. The class was really easy. My favorite assignment was the drug powerpoint and my least was the food pyramid. I liked the drug project because i learned a lot from it and it was ammusing. on a scale from 1-10 id give your class a 9.

I have never worked harder (except maybe in the pool), than in your class. It was so challenging but well, you heard me in class, i never stopped asking questions. Im going to miss everything about it, especially those natural histories (just kidding).

I loved health class this year!! I learned alot, and im so glad you were my teacher.I enjoyed comming to your class it was laied back, and I dont think you should change your style of teaching. One negative was watching you feed your snake.. but besides that nothing. We had to take alot of notes, but it was only for our beneift.I really enjoyed your class, and im sad that I wont have you as a teacher next year.
