To me, Health refers to a wide variety of things. It can refer to being physically fit, eating right, maintaning an overall healthy lifestyle, refraining from self destructive acts, being emotinally healthy, and practicing good hygenie. Being/doing these things are part of being healthy. Many people work in fields concerning health, like doctors, nutritionists,psycologists, and many more. To me, health is a very vauge term, but one that mainly refers to living a healthy lifestyle. What is defined as 'healthy' is very subjective and often raises controversy. Some people say that drinking red wine is heart healthy. Some others say you can be overweight and still be healthy. It really depends who you talk to. But then there are other things that cannot be argued and are univerally agreed on such as working out everyday, eating fruits and vegtables, and practicing good hygine. Health can also refer to how the human body works. Our bodily systems work together to stay healthy. systems such as the respitory system, endocrine system, reproductive system, and others are some examples. overall, health is a fascinating sunject and one must do a lot to keep your body healthy. There are social, mental, and physical aspects to staying healthy.
In my opinion the word “health” is a broad term that refers to the overall physical and mental condition of a person. Most often though I feel the word is used in a vague sense to describe ones own health as simply “good” or “bad”. From the very simple and general phrases “good” health, and “bad” health many people then automatically assume that person exercises daily, and maintains a balanced diet or does not and leave it at that. When in actuality the word health to me refers too much more than just whether one exercises and what they eat. Health can be mental not just physical, which is something I feel many people many people ignore. Being mentally healthy would be getting at least eight hours of sleep, not being excessively stressed over school, work, etc. That being said exercise shouldn’t always be associated with the word health as mentally healthy people are not always necessarily physically fit; although some may argue that exercising daily directly correlates with one’s mental health. That being said though, I feel what one considers health to be is more of a personal opinion, that doesn’t have a set definition. However I did look up what the word health technically means according to Webster’s Dictionary out of curiosity. Health: the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit; especially, freedom from physical disease or pain. That definition implies in a sense that as long as one isn’t in pain they are healthy, notice how it doesn’t even mention exercise. That being said, personally I believe health refers to both the internal and external condition of one’s body not just either or. One’s mood swings, intelligence, and sharpness, say a lot about the internal health, where as their weight in proportion to their height, toned/untoned muscles, endurance, etc. is a good indicator of their physical health, both being equally important.
Health is the condition in which living things around are in. This includes not only humans physically and mentally, but also plants and animals. Good health means your body is getting the necessary essentials to maintain good health. This includes keeping your body fit, eating healthy foods, and keeping control of your emotions. The foods you put in your body are a big part of staying healthy, like eating fruits and vegetables, also staying away from foods like trans fat. Exercising is very simple, manage your time and stay active. You cannot be too busy to stay healthy. On the other hand, bad health is obtained by not eating right like fast foods, being depressed, and lack of daily exercise. This is very simple to maintain a healthy life; take care of yourself and your surroundings.Ultimately being healthy depends on how you handle your own life, whether you are going to be lazy and in bad health or be in good health. People have decisions they make which leads to either being healthy or not.
To me, Health is the condition of someone's mind and body. There is Physical health, and mental health. physical health is anything that has to do with our bodies. To maintain/have your Physical health in a good condition, you have to do a lot of healthy things frequently. Like being physically fit, eating right, being active, taking showers and brushing your teeth everyday, taking vitamins everyday, restraining yourself from illegal drugs, and getting at least 8 hours of sleep. You can also go to the doctor or nutritionists for healthy check ups and for advice for maintaining good physical health. Mental health refers to our emotional wellbeing. To maintain/have your mental health in a good condition, you have to surround yourself with the right people, be aware, keep your brain active, do things that makes you happy, and learn to appreciate little things. You can go to therapists for help into maintaing good mental health. Everyone has a choice into deciding on which path they want to take, either be healthy or unhealthy. Health is one of the most important things in our lives.
In my opinion, Health has many different meanings. Health not always has to mean being 'physically fit' but emotionally as well. Being physically fit is very important to your health because it helps you stay energized, be more focused and it enhances your immune system & decreases the risk of heart & cancer disease. Being emotionally healthy means you are in control of your emotions & behavior. If your emotional health is not as great as you'd like it to be , you can improve it exactly the way you improve your physically fitness; by working for it. They're many ways you can boost your mood & enjoy life more pleasantly. Health has many others meanings but these are two most important.
Health, to me, can mean multiple things. It can be referred to as having a good relationship with your family, being physically fit, eating enough nutrition, etc. When I say having a good relationship with your family i mean not having very many fights, not having it be a community where everyone puts you down or leads you to do things you shouldn't do. Being physically fit is important so you can do more things without getting tired as fast. It is not hard to stay fit; you just have to realize what you are eating, what you aren't doing, and what it is doing to you. once you realize what you are doing to your body, you will want to change your ways and get fit. Eating enough nutrition is just making sure that you get enough of each food category to keep a healthy diet without becoming a vegetarian. if you actually look at what is in the food you are eating you understand what you are doing to your body and how you are torturing it. When you are emotionally healthy you are happy most of the time and sad every now and then. Good health for your body means that your body is getting enough nutrients to keep your body up and running how it should. Health also is the choosing of your friends- when you are around your friends they tend to influence you to do thing you normally wouldn't do. Mentally healthy would mean to not get stressed out over the tiniest thing and getting at least eight hours of sleep. Health can mean so many thing but overall as long as you're taking care of yourself and exercising, you are considered healthy - it doesn't matter what type of health you are talking about.

It is also best to avoid bad habits such as, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and taking illegal drugs. To stay healthy people should eat well balanced meals that include fruits and vegetables and stay away from fast food restaurants. Having good hygiene is also good for your health. This includes brushing your teeth, washing your face and showering regularly. Being active is great for your physical and mental health. Being healthy, however, needs more than individual effort. The government helps communities stay healthy by making laws to keep the air we breathe and the water we drink from being polluted. Being mentally healthy means to be able to feel good about yourself and being able to get along with others. Getting at least 8 hours of sleep will help you stay focused and keep you in a good mood the next day.
Everyone knows health plays a huge role in life. All living things must be healthy to survive. When I think of the word "health" two concepts come to mind, being physically fit and mentally stable. Being physically fit means eating nutritious foods that the body needs in order to survive, it also means you are active daily and move your muscles. Causing them to strengthen and get stronger. If the body doesn’t get the proper proteins it will weaken over time faster then if it was healthy. One of the biggest problems in the U.S. right now is so many people are becoming obese and diabetic. Its hard to eat healthy when the junk food is cheaper then the healthy food and even our produce is genetically mortified. If the Gov. really wanted to stop this problem they could find a way to make healthier food cheaper and to stop genetically mortified foods disappear. As of June 2012 there were 14,000 McDonalds in the U.S. You would think the Gov. would at least make the company change it so the salads weren’t more calories then the desserts. Everyone is well aware how unhealthy it is, yet we still eat there and contribute to the company. Eating then stiff stuff is destroying our bodies. Anyways, being mentally stable is just as important as being physically fit. Without our minds we would not be able to remember things, people, places, ect. Our brain controls the rest of our body, and if we are stable we will have no control of our bodies. The mind is a lot stronger then anyone realizes. When we get stressed out our mind can actually tell our bodies to store fat, this is more a problem for women then it is for men. The reason this happens is the women’s metabolism slows down and they crave comfort foods (unhealthy food). Stress isn’t just the reason our minds get messed up. Doing drugs also kill brain cells and cause lifetime damage, teens in general usually don’t care because its hard to know what you have tell its gone and once its gone its to late.
Health can mean many different thigs to many different people. Health can be mental, physical, and social. All which many people pay close entention to. Being 'physically fit' is really important to a person daily life. Phtsically fit involes a lot of working out and eating fruits and veggies. Also drinking a lot of water will maintain a good health. Social is just how you interact with other people, if you know how to talk to differemnt type of people in different social intercations is good for jobs and what not. Staying mentally healthy keeps you sane, it differs between people what keeps them calm and not stressed out. I can't jugde what keeps other people happy. But it can be anything that makes you less stress and smile.
Health to me is the one of the key aspects to living a good life. To be healthy means that you are taking care of your body and only doing good things for your body. A major part of being healthy is the way you eat, fast food and soda are practically heroin to your body and people just need to kick that addiction to such crappy things and start living a healthy life. Hygiene is also key to being healthy, you should always brush your teeth, wash your face, and shower. Going to the doctor whether it be the dentist of just a general pediatrician is a must to make sure that your body is healthy and ready for any task that life may throw at you. Health is measured in how often you get sick and how long you live. If you are healthy then you will rarely get sick and live a long life. As cliche as it may sound, being healthy is being happy, and what this means is that if you are healthy and have healthy relationships then you will be happy. I am an optimist and I feel like that is mostly because i am a pretty healthy guy with healthy relationships. Going back to being physically healthy, one is physically healthy when they work out and eat right. But when someone is internally healthy they are happy and dont let people bring them down.
Health is the word most people of as eating right or exercising, but for me its everything night and day. It does mean a healthy diet and being physically active, yet also sleeping the right amount of time, making yourself comfortable in the right environment, keeping clean, and staying connected. For example if you fell pressured around your friends its not the right environment. Staying connected with friends and family is very important because having the ability to talk to different people can make you feel secure. Health is what keeps you going or shuts you down. If you stay healthy in all ways possible, you will find yoursel in a good position.f
Health means more than being just physically fit or eating right--it means being healthy in all aspects of life. To live a healthy life you need to sleep right and take care of yourself by doing exercise and having a good diet. You also need to be mentally healthy by being comfortable with yourself as a person and having confidence in your abilities of completing certain tasks. The environment you live in also effects your health. You need to be around people who will be good influences in your life instead of having 'friends' who will pressure you to do things that can get you in trouble or more importantly get you hurt. The way you communicate and interact with others is also another part of being healthy. You need to be able to talk to people because that's an important life skill everyone needs to learn because communicating with others will never go away. You need it for school, jobs, or whenever you need help. Without companions you would go crazy and that's not good for your mental health. Health involves anything that affects a persons well being which is why almost anything you do or have done resulted in the way you are today.
What I think of first is the physical side, when it comes to health. The traditional stuff such as exercise, eat right, and drink lots of water. What next comes to mind you don't want to abuse your body like alcohol or drugs. Now hygiene. Another wonderful way of taking care of your body would be to clean it right. I say clean it "right" because I used to feel unclean because of my acne so I would over clean which made things worse.
Some how I originally over looked social, and mental health! Getting through the day happy is hard enough and and in someways most important. Your brain is a cage you cant get out of and if your are unhappy with yourself or friends, life can be unpleasant. Sometimes when I don't feel well mentally I feel physically sick! So what I think I am getting at is that Health is a well being of a given person. And really thats a reason we need to treat ourselves right and others (not just words or behavior) around us.
James bosques Per-6 Heath to me means all from your nutrion to physical actions it all balance out if you’re eating a burger and sleep for about two hours its bad you will be all tired have no energy to do anything you would want to sleep and sleep and be lazy do nothing all day even feel depressed because if you’re eating unhealthy and not getting enough sleep that Is what will happen. It was been proven that people that eat healthy will have better attitude threw out there live then people who eat unhealthy I know this is true because I had high cholesterol when I found this out I start eating more healthy and I notice that I had more energy and have a better attitude. That’s what health means to me but it also has a meaning “the state if wellbeing” it a word that can be explained in different ways it can mean fit, strong, not sick, etc. From where I stand I heard the word health and if anyone asks what it means it means how u treat your body. You are the one that get to choose if u want a healthy life style or not.
To me health is being physical and mental well. Health is a balance of mental, social, and physical. To maintain a good physical health is to be getting the right nutrition to exercise to get the right amount of sleep. If we are not eating healthy and getting the essentials that our body needs it can make us sick. Exercise is my life I go from school to running practice to swim practice. When I do not exercise it makes me feel like I need to do something. If you don’t get enough sleep all aspects of your health will start to decrease. Mental health is also important if your mental health is bad it will start to affect your emotional health. Mental health can start to change you in to a person you don’t even know anymore. Social health is having good people around you that will help you make right decision. It is also a good idea to stay away from harmful things like drinking, smoking and doing drugs. Being social is a part of our nature we need to have human interacting with out it we start to go crazy. If you have ever seen the move the castaway with tom hanks you will see being alone is not good for you humans. You must have balance in social, mental, and physical.
In my opinion, health does not pertain only to physical, but mental, and for some people spiritual. I for one look at more than physique to determine the quality of someone's health . It is healthy to surround yourself with a good-hearted group of friends with good intentions. This could be the most important aspect of a persons health because of the power of influence. A bodybuilder could easily fall into drugs and alcohol if they hang out with the wrong friend group. Though, it does not always have to be about drugs. An unhappy person can also be considered unhealthy. In my opinion, being mentally happy means being happy and loving life. It is also important to stay physically fit. It is important to eat the right amount of fruit, veggie, and meats. Stuffing your face with the Taco Bell happy hour menu might sound appealing but it will take your health the wrong way. it is important to monitor what you eat, and how much of it you consume.

My social health greatly improved when I joined the football team. Having good physical, mental, and social health is very important.

It is crucial to do so because of social relationships and the well being of yourself. Feeling content with yourself mentally can change your attitude and behavior. While being upset with yourself can put you in a negative mood, feeling satisfied can have a positive effect. Staying away from the abuse of drugs and alcohol is crucial and also presents a well lived, healthy life. Also, smoking is known to cause lung cancer and others can breathe in second-hand smoke while walking passed someone who is smoking. Health is very important and should be taken seriously.
Health has three main things a combination of your physical, mental, and social well being. Mental health is for example; how you feel about yourself, if you like yourself and are happy with yourself and who you are, then you probably have good mental health. Social health is how you get along with others like how you work, communicate, and cooperate with others like your friends, family, adults, and piers. it doesn't mean you have to like them it's just how you get along with them. And lastly your physical health; the way in which the parts and systems of your body function there are six factors for physical health. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, hygiene, checkups and treatments, and resisting harmful substances. Nutrition; you eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables and not greasy food, or food with a lot of sugar in it. Exercise; you have to exercise, you can play a sport or just simply walk or run for 30 minutes. Sleep; you have to get a good night sleep, so your body can rest. Hygiene; you have to stay clean and shower brush your teeth and just simple things that you already do. Check ups and treatments; go to the doctor and get checked out to make sure everything is fine. Resist harmful substances; don't break under peer pressure if someone is telling you to do drugs or something bad just say no.
I think the word "health means alot of things to me. When i think of health, i think of becoming physically fit. i ignore all the other stuff, especially the mentality health. Health is like a scale of how your body works. For example, I can tell whether somebody has good or bad health. some people may have good physically health, but probably have bad mental health. While others may have good mental health, but may have bad physical or social health.

It can be physical health, mental health, nutritional health, emotional health, and many others, it is used in many different ways making it very uncertain what the precise meaning of "health" really is. To me being healthy is more, it is also eating right, keeping your mind active, and being physically fit. I think the idea of being physically fit is what most people think is "healthy". I think that most people think this because a big problem in America today is obesity and being overweight so to them being physically fit is being healthy. Health can also refer to inside the body and all of its systems; some people think your cardiovascular health is the most important thing. Also there are people who work in health such as doctors, nurses, paramedics and different fields for each one. One can work with heart health, another can be an e.r. doc, and another can even work at a retiring home. So with the many different fields of work out there it is clear that we care a lot about our health.
To me, Health doesn't necessarily mean to be physically fit, but it also means to stay active socially and also to have a good mindset in everything you do. Health falls into three categories: Physical, Social, and Mental. Physical health (which most people are aware of) requires a balanced diet, good exercise, enough sleep, and a good hygiene. To me Social Health should require someone to be doing something they enjoy such as a sport or a club, rather than sitting inside all day playing video games. Also to be more outgoing and open other than being so quiet and pushing others away just to be alone. To be Mentally healthy is probably the hardest, some people aren't Mentally stable or healthy and don't even know it. In my opinion someone who is Mentally fit, has a good self esteem, good group of friends, has self-respect, confidence in everything they do, knows what is right or wrong, and also when they are in the darkest times they always try to find the light. One major issue that alot of people have that keeps them from Mental health is that they have a terrible group of friends and even worse relationships with loved ones and or family. Having a good relationship with family and having a good group of friends that encourage you and lift you up rather than hurting you builds not only your self-esteem but your confidence as well. This then leads you to Social health because with great confidence, self-esteem, AND relationships with both family and friends brings out the best in you, showing your true potential in life.
Health is a life style. A person has to maintain a healthy balance in all areas of their life to stay healthy. Health to me is more than just being physically fit, you must have a stable mind set, and maintain healthy relationships with others. Being physically fit is important for your health because one may eat right, be good socially and mentally but sitting around all day and not going out to exercise would make you lazy and unhealthy. Nutrition is also a very important part of your health, eating right will reduce chances of heart diseases and will keep your metabolism working at a consistent rate and help build a strong immune system to fight off disease. Hygiene is also very important. You must keep yourself clean, shower to wash away all the bacteria and dirty chemicals off your body. Brushing your teeth at least three times or after every meal, every day will keep your mouth clean and teeth strong so no harmful substances like bacteria will enter your mouth to cause an infection. surrounding yourself with the right group of people and making good decisions like deciding not top drink, smoke, or do any type of drug would be good for your mental health.
I believe health is a combination of physical health and emotional health. If you are not mentally healthy, then there's a good chance your physical health will not be good. It's easier for a person to hide their mental health issues than physical health issues. A person can look healthy on the outside, but be suffering on the inside due to a death in the family or other personal reasons such as their parents getting a divorce.
For me, I mainly think of health as physical. Physical health is the result of how you take care of your body. Giving you're body the nutrition that it needs is a big part of growing and staying healthy. To fuel you're body with these needs it's good to eat the right foods and not give you're body 'junk' food. It's not only important to eat healthy food but exercise is the way you're body uses these nutrients.
Being mentally stable is also a huge part of being healthy. Being stressed or having depression can really affect your emotional health. Some people just hate themselves and struggle being around and interacting with other people or family members. Furthermore if you refuse to interact with others you can have problems socially, witch leads me to my next point. Being socially awkward can lead to drastic health issues. A good way to avoid these problems is to do a sport or join a club. If you join a sport you can not only interact with other people, but get exercise and feel good about you're self.
To me, health is being in an exceptional physical and mental state that is diverse depending on your lifestyle, culture, hobbies, etc. Self-motivation to be the best you that you are able to be and/or happy with the results that your hard work produced is, to me, the biggest part of health or being healthy. However, keeping the previous in mind, there are certain physical and mental obstacles that we are unable to control and, because of this, we must look at health at an individual level rather than a big picture. When "being healthy" comes to mind we should think of individuality and include factors such as uncontrollable defects, available free time, priority, food choices, etc.

the meaning o health for me, is that it is your life and to have a good life you need to have good health, and to have good health is to eat right, exercise, have fun, go out, do something, be active, and to have a good attitude to wherever an when ever you are. some people say that if you have a six pack you are considered fit, but to me I think that if you can do your chores and do your daily routines without a problem, then you are physically fit. the three keys to being healthy is to be social, mental, and physical is the best way to be healthy. Emotionally healthy is to be confident with yourself, the way you interact with others and the way you handle demands of life. to be socially healthy is another major factor of health. to be socially healthy is how well you are getting along with others. communication is an important way to be socially healthy and also, how you work with others. playing sports is not only a way to be physically healthy, but also a way to be socially healthy. teamwork is a key factor of being physically and socially healthy. The largest part of staying fit is your diet. A good diet is one that consists of fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, and dairy. The other largest part of fitness is exercise. Exercising one hour per day for everyday of the week is an ideal way to keep your body in tone. The last part of being fit is hygiene. Hygiene is keeping your body in a clean and safe state. Washing your hands, brushing, flossing, showering, using de-odorant, and washing your face are all different ways to stay hygienic. Mental stability goes hand and hand with being physically fit. Mental Stability means giving your mind a challenge everyday and keeping it active. The more you use your mind, the stronger it gets. some ways to challenge yourself is doing daily puzzles, math problems, reading books, and studying different subjects. Your brain is what controls your whole body, so that makes it the main priority of your health. Having a social life is also very important. As humans, we are born to interact with other people. Going without a social life for an extended amount of time can often drive people mad. We need to have someone to talk to, or else we bottle up all of our thoughts and emotions. Interacting with people also relieves stress, as well as gives us subjects to talk about and think about on our own time. Living a healthy life means having mental stability, being physically fit, and having a social life all in harmony.

To me health can mean a variety of things. It can vary from our daily eating habits to exercising daily. It can also means to be emotionally and socially fit. Everyone says lead a "healthy" life but that is different for every person and there financial state. Health means to keep a health diet and to sleep a good amount. To be healthy, also means to have a drug and alcohol free life. To be emotionally healthy means to be able to be in command of your emotions and mind. Health in the USA and the rest of the world is a real problem, the world. The world has a real problem with obesity and now many people on think being physically fit is the on type that is important but this is false. It matters to have all three parts of health being mental, physical and social. Being healthy is a lot of work and eventually if you don't take care of your body you will die.

To me, Health refers to a wide variety of things. It can refer to being physically fit, eating right, maintaning an overall healthy lifestyle, refraining from self destructive acts, being emotinally healthy, and practicing good hygenie. Being/doing these things are part of being healthy. Many people work in fields concerning health, like doctors, nutritionists,psycologists, and many more. To me, health is a very vauge term, but one that mainly refers to living a healthy lifestyle. What is defined as 'healthy' is very subjective and often raises controversy. Some people say that drinking red wine is heart healthy. Some others say you can be overweight and still be healthy. It really depends who you talk to. But then there are other things that cannot be argued and are univerally agreed on such as working out everyday, eating fruits and vegtables, and practicing good hygine. Health can also refer to how the human body works. Our bodily systems work together to stay healthy. systems such as the respitory system, endocrine system, reproductive system, and others are some examples. overall, health is a fascinating sunject and one must do a lot to keep your body healthy. In my opinion the word “health” is a broad term that refers to the overall physical and mental condition of a person. Most often though I feel the word is used in a vague sense to describe ones own health as simply “good” or “bad”. From the very simple and general phrases “good” health, and “bad” health many people then automatically assume that person exercises daily, and maintains a balanced diet or does not and leave it at that. When in actuality the word health to me refers too much more than just whether one exercises and what they eat. Health can be mental not just physical, which is something I feel many people many people ignore. Being mentally healthy would be getting at least eight hours of sleep, not being excessively stressed over school, work, etc. That being said exercise shouldn’t always be associated with the word health as mentally healthy people are not always necessarily physically fit; although some may argue that exercising daily directly correlates with one’s mental health. That being said though, I feel what one considers health to be is more of a personal opinion, that doesn’t have a set definition. However I did look up what the word health technically means according to Webster’s Dictionary out of curiosity. Health: the condition of being sound in body, mind, or spirit; especially, freedom from physical disease or pain. That definition implies in a sense that as long as one isn’t in pain they are healthy, notice how it doesn’t even mention exercise. That being said, personally I believe health refers to both the internal and external condition of one’s body not just either or. One’s mood swings, intelligence, and sharpness, say a lot about the internal health, where as their weight in proportion to their height, toned/untoned muscles, endurance, etc. is a good indicator of their physical health, both being equally important.

To me, Health is the condition of someone's mind and body. There is Physical health, and mental health. physical health is anything that has to do with our bodies. To maintain/have your Physical health in a good condition, you have to do a lot of healthy things frequently. Health, to me, can mean multiple things. It can be referred to as having a good relationship with your family, being physically fit, eating enough nutrition, etc. When I say having a good relationship with your family i mean not having very many fights, not having it be a community where everyone puts you down or leads you to do things you shouldn't do. Being physically fit is important so you can do more things without getting tired as fast. It is not hard to stay fit; you just have to realize what you are eating, what you aren't doing, and what it is doing to you. once you realize what you are doing to your body, you will want to change your ways and get fit. Eating enough nutrition is just making sure that you get enough of each food category to keep a healthy diet without becoming a vegetarian. if you actually look at what is in the food you are eating you understand what you are doing to your body and how you are torturing it. When you are emotionally healthy you are happy most of the time and sad every now and then. Good health for your body means that your body is getting enough nutrients to keep your body up and running how it should. Health also is the choosing of your friends- when you are around your friends they tend to influence you to do thing you normally wouldn't do. Mentally healthy would mean to not get stressed out over the tiniest thing and getting at least eight hours of sleep. Health can mean so many thing but overall as long as you're taking care of yourself and exercising, you are considered healthy - it doesn't matter what type of health you are talking about.

Health to me means being physically and mentally fit. To help keep yourself healthy, it is best to go to a family doctor and dentist for regular check-ups. It is also best to avoid bad habits such as, smoking, drinking alcoholic beverages, and taking illegal drugs. To stay healthy people should eat well balanced meals that include fruits and vegetables and stay away from fast food restaurants. Having good hygiene is also good for your health. This includes brushing your teeth, washing your face and showering regularly. Being active is great for your physical and mental health. Being healthy, however, needs more than individual effort. The government helps communities stay healthy by making laws to keep the air we breathe and the water we drink from being polluted. Being mentally healthy means to be able to feel good about yourself and being able to get along with others. Getting at least 8 hours of sleep will help you stay focused and keep you in a good mood the next day.
Everyone knows health plays a huge role in life. All living things must be healthy to survive. When I think of the word "health" two concepts come to mind, being physically fit and mentally stable. Being physically fit means eating nutritious foods that the body needs in order to survive, it also means you are active daily and move your muscles. Causing them to strengthen and get stronger. If the body doesn’t get the proper proteins it will weaken over time faster then if it was healthy. One of the biggest problems in the U.S. right now is so many people are becoming obese and diabetic. Its hard to eat healthy when the junk food is cheaper then the healthy food and even our produce is genetically mortified. If the Gov. really wanted to stop this problem they could find a way to make healthier food cheaper and to stop genetically mortified foods disappear. As of June 2012 there were 14,000 McDonalds in the U.S. You would think the Gov. would at least make the company change it so the salads weren’t more calories then the desserts. Everyone is well aware how unhealthy it is, yet we still eat there and contribute to the company. Eating then stiff stuff is destroying our bodies. Anyways, being mentally stable is just as important as being physically fit. Without our minds we would not be able to remember things, people, places, ect. Our brain controls the rest of our body, and if we are stable we will have no control of our bodies. The mind is a lot stronger then anyone realizes. When we get stressed out our mind can actually tell our bodies to store fat, this is more a problem for women then it is for men. The reason this happens is the women’s metabolism slows down and they crave comfort foods (unhealthy food). Stress isn’t just the reason our minds get messed up. Doing drugs also kill brain cells and cause lifetime damage, teens in general usually don’t care because its hard to know what you have tell its gone and once its gone its to late.

To live a healthy life you need to sleep right and take care of yourself by doing exercise and having a good diet. What I think of first is the physical side, when it comes to health. The traditional stuff such as exercise, eat right, and drink lots of water. What next comes to mind you don't want to abuse your body like alcohol or drugs. Now hygiene. Another wonderful way of taking care of your body would be to clean it right. I say clean it "right" because I used to feel unclean because of my acne so I would over clean which made things worse.
Some how I originally over looked social, and mental health! Getting through the day happy is hard enough and and in someways most important. Your brain is a cage you cant get out of and if your are unhappy with yourself or friends, life can be unpleasant. Sometimes when I don't feel well mentally I feel physically sick!
So what I think I am getting at is that Health is a well being of a given person. And really thats a reason we need to treat ourselves right and others (not just words or behavior) around us.

It was been proven that people that eat healthy will have better attitude threw out there live then people who eat unhealthy I know this is true because I had high cholesterol when I found this out I start eating more healthy and I notice that I had more energy and have a better attitude. That’s what health means to me but it also has a meaning “the state if wellbeing” it a word that can be explained in different ways it can mean fit, strong, not sick, etc. From where I stand I heard the word health and if anyone asks what it means it means how u treat your body. In my opinion, health does not pertain only to physical, but mental, and for some people spiritual. I for one look at more than physique to determine the quality of someone's health . It is healthy to surround yourself with a good-hearted group of friends with good intentions. This could be the most important aspect of a persons health because of the power of influence. A bodybuilder could easily fall into drugs and alcohol if they hang out with the wrong friend group. Though, it does not always have to be about drugs. An unhappy person can also be considered unhealthy. In my opinion, being mentally happy means being happy and loving life. It is also important to stay physically fit. It is important to eat the right amount of fruit, veggie, and meats. Stuffing your face with the Taco Bell happy hour menu might sound appealing but it will take your health the wrong way. it is important to monitor what you eat, and how much of it you consume.

Mental health is for example; how you feel about yourself, if you like yourself and are happy with yourself and who you are, then you probably have good mental health. Social health is how you get along with others like how you work, communicate, and cooperate with others like your friends, family, adults, and piers. it doesn't mean you have to like them it's just how you get along with them. And lastly your physical health; the way in which the parts and systems of your body function there are six factors for physical health. Nutrition, exercise, sleep, hygiene, checkups and treatments, and resisting harmful substances. Nutrition; you eat healthy foods like fruits and vegetables and not greasy food, or food with a lot of sugar in it. Exercise; you have to exercise, you can play a sport or just simply walk or run for 30 minutes. Sleep; you have to get a good night sleep, so your body can rest. Hygiene; you have to stay clean and shower brush your teeth and just simple things that you already do. Check ups and treatments; go to the doctor and get checked out to make sure everything is fine. To me being healthy is more, it is also eating right, keeping your mind active, and being physically fit. I think the idea of being physically fit is what most people think is "healthy". I think that most people think this because a big problem in America today is obesity and being overweight so to them being physically fit is being healthy. Health can also refer to inside the body and all of its systems; some people think your cardiovascular health is the most important thing. Also there are people who work in health such as doctors, nurses, paramedics and different fields for each one. One can work with heart health, another can be an e.r. doc, and another can even work at a retiring home. So with the many different fields of work out there it is clear that we care a lot about our health.
To me, Health doesn't necessarily mean to be physically fit, but it also means to stay active socially and also to have a good mindset in everything you do. Health falls into three categories: Physical, Social, and Mental. Physical health (which most people are aware of) requires a balanced diet, good exercise, enough sleep, and a good hygiene. To me Social Health should require someone to be doing something they enjoy such as a sport or a club, rather than sitting inside all day playing video games. Also to be more outgoing and open other than being so quiet and pushing others away just to be alone. To be Mentally healthy is probably the hardest, some people aren't Mentally stable or healthy and don't even know it. In my opinion someone who is Mentally fit, has a good self esteem, good group of friends, has self-respect, confidence in everything they do, knows what is right or wrong, and also when they are in the darkest times they always try to find the light. One major issue that alot of people have that keeps them from Mental health is that they have a terrible group of friends and even worse relationships with loved ones and or family. Having a good relationship with family and having a good group of friends that encourage you and lift you up rather than hurting you builds not only your self-esteem but your confidence as well. This then leads you to Social health because with great confidence, self-esteem, AND relationships with both family and friends brings out the best in you, showing your true potential in life.

Brushing your teeth at least three times or after every meal, every day will keep your mouth clean and teeth strong so no harmful substances like bacteria will enter your mouth to cause an infection. surrounding yourself with the right group of people and making good decisions like deciding not top drink, smoke, or do any type of drug would be good for your mental health.
I believe health is a combination of physical health and emotional health. If you are not mentally healthy, then there's a good chance your physical health will not be good. It's easier for a person to hide their mental health issues than physical health issues. A person can look healthy on the outside, but be suffering on the inside due to a death in the family or other personal reasons such as their parents getting a divorce.
For me, I mainly think of health as physical. Physical health is the result of how you take care of your body. Giving you're body the nutrition that it needs is a big part of growing and staying healthy. To fuel you're body with these needs it's good to eat the right foods and not give you're body 'junk' food. It's not only important to eat healthy food but exercise is the way you're body uses these nutrients.
Being mentally stable is also a huge part of being healthy. Being stressed or having depression can really affect your emotional health. Some people just hate themselves and struggle being around and interacting with other people or family members. Furthermore if you refuse to interact with others you can have problems socially, witch leads me to my next point. Being socially awkward can lead to drastic health issues. A good way to avoid these problems is to do a sport or join a club. If you join a sport you can not only interact with other people, but get exercise and feel good about you're self.
To me, health is being in an exceptional physical and mental state that is diverse depending on your lifestyle, culture, hobbies, etc. Self-motivation to be the best you that you are able to be and/or happy with the results that your hard work produced is, to me, the biggest part of health or being healthy. However, keeping the previous in mind, there are certain physical and mental obstacles that we are unable to control and, because of this, we must look at health at an individual level rather than a big picture. the meaning o health for me, is that it is your life and to have a good life you need to have good health, and to have good health is to eat right, exercise, have fun, go out, do something, be active, and to have a good attitude to wherever an when ever you are. some people say that if you have a six pack you are considered fit, but to me I think that if you can do your chores and do your daily routines without a problem, then you are physically fit. the three keys to being healthy is to be social, mental, and physical is the best way to be healthy. Health can mean many different things. To me it is the condition of the body and mind, including physical, emotional and mental health. Physical health means to be getting enough nutrition, exercising, getting enough sleep etc. Emotional health is also very important. Emotionally healthy is to be confident with yourself, the way you interact with others and the way you handle demands of life. to be socially healthy is another major factor of health. to be socially healthy is how well you are getting along with others. communication is an important way to be socially healthy and also, how you work with others. playing sports is not only a way to be physically healthy, but also a way to be socially healthy. teamwork is a key factor of being physically and socially healthy. Being healthy is a big responsibility. when in certain situations it is very healthy to know how to take control of the situation.

Personally, heath means keeping a wide variety of activities in your life in harmony. As much as you need to be physically fit, you need to be mentally stable as well. The largest part of staying fit is your diet. A good diet is one that consists of fruits, vegetables, proteins, grains, and dairy. The other largest part of fitness is exercise. Exercising one hour per day for everyday of the week is an ideal way to keep your body in tone. The last part of being fit is hygiene. Hygiene is keeping your body in a clean and safe state. Washing your hands, brushing, flossing, showering, using de-odorant, and washing your face are all different ways to stay hygienic. Mental stability goes hand and hand with being physically fit. Mental Stability means giving your mind a challenge everyday and keeping it active. The more you use your mind, the stronger it gets. some ways to challenge yourself is doing daily puzzles, math problems, reading books, and studying different subjects. Your brain is what controls your whole body, so that makes it the main priority of your health. Having a social life is also very important. As humans, we are born to interact with other people. Going without a social life for an extended amount of time can often drive people mad. We need to have someone to talk to, or else we bottle up all of our thoughts and emotions. Interacting with people also relieves stress, as well as gives us subjects to talk about and think about on our own time. Living a healthy life means having mental stability, being physically fit, and having a social life all in harmony.
health is many things,there are 3 aspects of health 1 is physical 2 is mental and 3 is social. all theses create health. being physically health means that you read right get exersize everyday and have good personal hygene. social health is that you can get along with others and your peers if you have a problem with one another try and figure out the problem and live on with life. mental health is another key thing in being a healthy person, i personaly thing you should get as much sleep as you can. i think 9 hours is a good number for hours of sleep. i also thing eating right is a huge part of being healthy you must have a balanced diet or your not 100% healthy. if you try to be all of those things you can consider yourself 100% healthy

To me health can mean a variety of things. It can vary from our daily eating habits to exercising daily. It can also means to be emotionally and socially fit. Everyone says lead a "healthy" life but that is different for every person and there financial state. Health means to keep a health diet and to sleep a good amount. To be healthy, also means to have a drug and alcohol free life. To be emotionally healthy means to be able to be in command of your emotions and mind. Health in the USA and the rest of the world is a real problem, the world. The world has a real problem with obesity and now many people on think being physically fit is the on type that is important but this is false. It matters to have all three parts of health being mental, physical and social. Being healthy is a lot of work and eventually if you don't take care of your body you will die.
